The Secret Garden

Katie and Ian are a gorgeous couple inside and out and as such it was an honour to be part of their big day.

Ian was un nice an early, he had passed over ironing duties to his usher, who in turn had passed them on to his girlfriend. The boys were in no rush to help poor old Ian so he got dressed solo as the lads watched the Grand Prix.

The ladies were in full flow when I arrived. Hair was being attended to,make up applied. The girls were swapping stories from their younger days and enjoying a drop of bubbly. Katie looked stunning in her dress and we took the extra time, Ian had provided us by getting stuck in traffic to enjoy the view and take some images.

The church service was one of the finest ever. With my favourite vicar, Ravi Holy. Who would have liked to work at the Presbyterian church, but would have been called Pastor Ravi Holy. Ian looked relieved to see his girl and we were gifted with a very beautiful ceremony. The happy couple sealed the deal with a kiss to cheers from their friends and family. Outside everyone hurried to give the newly weds hugs and kisses and wish them all the best.

Then we all set off to the Secret Gardens, The Secret Garden is a captivating and elegant venue and is the perfect place to hold a wedding ceremony and reception. Inside and out the Secret Garden is one of Kent’s most romantic settings. They are situated on the beautiful Mersham Le Hatch Estate, offering a peaceful rural location and perfect for a few drinks and a nice relax with your loved ones in the glorious English sunshine. For the more robust we had a few bouts of Gladiators and an impromptu game of cricket broke out.

I left the the wedding party dancing the night away.

It was an amazing day.
